It is intended to celebrate the Rotary year that will be coming to a close. Rotary Club Presidents and Officers for the 2007-08 year are highly encouraged to attend, and of course, as with the District Assembly, all Rotarians are welcome and encouraged to participate. During the Conference, you will hear about all the successes we have achieved not only as a District, but as a team of Rotarians working together for a common cause. There will be a banquet Saturday evening to honor the current year’s club Presidents, who, along with their spouse or partner, will be introduced at the beginning of the banquet and seated at reserved tables. Be sure your club is a part of this wonderful evening, to celebrate the Rotary successes you have achieved!Text Box: Rotary District Assembly – This event will be hosted by District Governor Elect, Vickie Randel. It is intended to showcase plans for the upcoming Rotary year. Rotary Club Presidents and Officers for the 2008-09 Rotary year are highly encouraged to attend, and of course all Rotarians are welcome and encouraged to participate. You will learn about the Rotary International theme, goals, and objectives for the new Rotary year. Training will also be provided in the format of round table discussions that will enable you to obtain practical knowledge on topics of your choice, selected from a wide variety of subjects useful to Rotary clubs. A special highlight of District Assembly is the banquet held Friday evening. The President Elects for the 2008-09 Rotary year will be the guests of honor and, along with their spouse or partner will be introduced at the beginning of the banquet and seated at reserved tables.
